Travel Tips and Tricks Episode: 34

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! It is once again time for a new episode of Travel Tips and Tricks! Last week talked about lanyards on a cruise ship. This week we are going to discuss bringing multiple pairs of sunglasses on a trip. I know it sounds a little weird, but it will be worth it. So let’s get started! Now, I know the idea of bringing multiple pairs of sunglasses sounds strange. However, through personal experiences, I can tell you that it is worth it. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve broken or lost my sunglasses (snorkel goggles included- the ocean ate them). That is why I started making sure I have a backup pair. That way if something happens to the first pair, I already have a spare pair I can use. I would definitely suggest leaving your spare set with your luggage back at your hotel or cruise cabin. That way you know exactly where they are and that they are safe until you can get to them. Plus you can bring pairs that match with different outfits. Well t...

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! It is once again time to wrap up the week with your favorite host, me, Spirit! We have had a very eventful week with a new episode of Travel Tips and Tricks and a new Location Episode featuring Salute Seafood and Italian Restaurant! We have a lot to cover and not a lot of time. So let’s get started! This week on Travel Tips and Tricks we talked about wearing lanyards on a cruise. Which basically means you will wear an oversized collar with an extra large plastic ID tag around your neck. Still wondering why dog collars can’t have more designs on them like lanyards do. Maybe someday, but my mom makes my collars so I’m good. The good thing is that you don’t have to purchase a lanyard on the cruise, you can either make your own or buy one at your local store to take with you. Now let’s talk about the new Location Episode featuring Salute Seafood and Italian Restaurant. The food smelled pawsome! Mom did let me have a bite of the bread, wit...

Salutes Seafood and Italian Restaurant

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! I know it’s been awhile since we have had a location episode due to my upcoming trip, but I was finally able to visit a new restaurant! This might be the last one for a bit until my trip. So let’s get started! This week I got to visit Salutes Seafood and Italian Restaurant by the beach! This is a place I don’t go to as often as restaurants closer to my house, but it is still an amazing restaurant nonetheless. The staff has always been super friendly and attentive every time I’ve visited. The food is absolutely amazing too. I got the Grilled Pork Tenderloin Fettuccine Alfredo and my mom got Chicken Caesar Salad. Both are amazing. You will also receive a basket of bread and pesto to snack on while you wait for your meal. I definitely recommend checking out this restaurant if you ever visit the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The restaurant is located just off highway 90 in Gulfport, Mississippi. That about wraps up this week’s location episode. Nex...

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers to another exciting episode of Travel Tips and Tricks! Last week we talked about using Carnival Cruise Line Specialty Cups. This week we are going to talk about lanyards on a Carnival Cruise. I know you might be asking why you might need a lanyard on a cruise. Well let’s get started and I’ll explain. On a Carnival Cruise Ship none of the stores, bars, or restaurants that cost extra will accept cash, debit cards, credit cards, checks, or any tap payments. So, how do you pay for any purchases on the ship? Well fear not there is a way. When you board the ship you are given a card that has your name and room number on it. This card acts as your room key and as your alternate credit card for on-ship purchases. And it is charged to your room and the credit card attached to your Carnival accountYou can just put this card in your pocket or wallet. However the best and most popular way to carry it is by attaching it to a lanyard. Carnival does have lanyards fo...

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! It is once again to wrap up the week with your favorite host, me, Spirit the German Shepherd! This week we covered Carnival Cruise Line’s specialty cups and a new lip gloss that turns to a lip balm! We have a lot to wrap up and little time to do it! So let’s get started! On this week’s episode of Travel Tips and Tricks we talked about Carnival Cruise Line’s specialty cups! They are super cute and you can get your drinks in them instead of the regular drink cups that you can’t keep. My mom and grandma each have one and take them each time they go on a Carnival Cruise. So next time you are on a Carnival Cruise, get one of their specialty cups! They have some really cute ones! Lastly, on this week’s product episode we talked about a new lip gloss that turns into a lip bomb. It smells and tastes like a Christmas candy cane! It is called Patchology Lip Service: gloss- to-balm lip treatment. My mom loves it and it makes her lips super soft....

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers to another exciting product review! Last week we talked about the Town Talk Anti-Tarnish Silver Polish Spray from Michael’s Arts and Crafts Store. This week we are going to talk about the Patchology Lip Service Gloss- to- Balm Treatment. So let’s get started! The Patchology Lip Service Gloss- to- Balm Treatment is made with some natural ingredients such as honey and peppermint oil. Unlike other lip glosses, this one smells and tastes like a peppermint candy cane! Perfect for the upcoming holiday season! The Lip Service is designed to make your lips feel softer and it has definitely done that for me. When you first apply it you will feel a coolness effect from the peppermint oil, but it will slowly fade as the stuff turns from a gloss to a balm. I bought this at my part-time job but due to my jobs strict social media policies and a limited stock on the Patchology brand I cannot recommend getting from this particular store. Walmart does have ...

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers to another exciting episode of Travel Tips and Tricks! Last week we discussed bringing multiple swimsuits when you go on a trip. Especially since you never know what could happen. This week we are going to talk about Carnival Cruise Lines Specialty Cups! So let’s get started! On Carnival Cruise ships they have specialty cups that are sold at the Blue Iguana Cantina, Red Frog Rum Bar, and the Gift Shop. They are really cute and if you don’t feel like ordering cup after cup of your favorite drink then you can just get a refill in your specialty cup. The specialty cups do cost extra! They are not included in your cruise fair. However, you can get your favorite drinks in the one you choose to buy and then just get that cup refilled! My mom and I have specialty cups that we take with us when we cruise. If you have already purchased a specialty cup from a previous Carnival Cruise then be sure to take it with you on your next one! That is about a...
