Outback Steakhouse

Hi everyone! Welcome back to Sarah’s Travel Adventures. Today we are covering Outback Steakhouse on Sangani Blvd in D’Iberville, MS. It is across the parking lot from Samurai Japanese Cuisine, which we covered in our last Thursday feature. This is my mom’s number 1# place to get a steak. Mine is somewhere else, but Outback comes at a close second.

My mom and I normally get a 6oz sirloin. My mom pairing it with a salad and baked potato. I normally pair mine with fries and either potato soup or creamy onion soup. Both soups are delicious and I highly recommend both of them. However during this most recent trip to Outback Steakhouse I was feeling a little adventurous to try something new. I noticed they had added a new pasta to the menu. It’s called King Steak and Shrimp Pasta. Let’s just say Olive Garden Italian Restaurant has competition. The King Steak and Shrimp Pasta at Outback Steakhouse is absolutely amazing! Some of the best pasta I’ve ever had.

The shrimp has a kick of spice to it, but has so much flavor. The steak and noodles has either a cream sauce or Alfredo sauce which has so much flavor too. I wasn’t able to finish it all, so it’s definitely going in my work lunch box. I will for sure be ordering the King Steak and Shrimp Pasta again.

Haven’t ever really had any issues at the restaurant. Though I do recommend if you are getting a steak, to order it a little more cooked than what you would normally. For example, instead of ordering medium, order it medium-well because we have had times where the steak has come out not cooked fully to our liking. However, if that happens just politely make your server aware of the situation and the staff will take care of it in a timely manner. We have never had any staff member that was rude to us.

I definitely recommend this location if you ever visit South Mississippi. The food and service are amazing and the decor definitely give you a glimpse into the Australian Outback. 4.5 star rating.

Until next time.
