Hobby Lobby

 



    Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! Last Thursday we covered Dollar General, a popular one-stop shop here in South Mississippi. This week we are going to cover one of my favorite places to shop for arts and craft supplies. If you are a local, you know i am talking about 1 of 2 places. While both places are good I still prefer this chain store over the other. I am, of course, referring talking about Hobby Lobby. So let's get started!
      Currently in South Mississippi we have 2 Hobby Lobby stores close to me. The first one is in Gulfport, MS, at the corner of hwy 49 and Dedeaux Rd. The second one is located towards the back of the D'Iberville Promenade in D'Iberville, MS. Both locations are good. I don't really have a preference to which location is better. Both locations are huge and carry just about anything you might need for your art project or hobby.



    It's my favorite store to get sketch books, jewelry making supplies, embroidery supplies, etc. What I get is only a small fraction of what their store offers. If you want stuff to decorate your home for each season and holiday, then Hobby Lobby has a huge selection of decor. Model cars and supplies? They have that too. Leather and supplies? They have it. Fabric? Yarn? Sewing stuff? They have it. They also have great sales as well. The sales do vary and change. Keep checking and coming back to Hobby Lobby or go to their website and print out their sales paper to keep track of what's on sale and when. 
    I hope this helps you with all your art supply needs. I highly recommend this store for any arts and crafts and hobby needs.

One of the restaurants where my family likes to eat is Woody’s Roadside Bar and Grill located on Highway 605/ Lorraine Rd. I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times and not once have I ever had bad service. All the employees are super nice and upbeat, and the food is amazing. My mom normally gets the chicken strips and fries while I get the pulled pork sandwich, fries, and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries, in my opinion, are absolutely addictive. 😋 I normally can’t finish all of mine, but that is ok because I take it home for leftovers to put in my lunch box for the next time I work at my part-time job.     I highly recommend eating here if you have the chance. The atmosphere is fun, the staff and food is amazing. It is a little loud in the restaurant so if you are looking for some place a little quieter, then this may not be for you. Ship Island Excursions Finally Open for The Season!

      Welcome back my fellow Adventures! I hope you enjoyed the latest episode of Travel Tips and Tricks Tuesday. I know all of you are wondering where we are going this week. Well, this is more like an announcement, because I personally won't be going till its warmer. However, for those that want to go to a really great beach in this cooler weather the Ship Island Excursions Ferry is opening back up for the season! Starting tomorrow, Friday, March 21, the ferry will start taking people back to Ship Island.     Tickets start at $44 for adults. They do offer different prices for seniors, kids, and military as well. The ferry ride takes about an hour to get to the Island. Get to the port early to get a good seat. They do offer concession stands on the boat and on the island, to be sure to bring extra money with you because it does cost extra. Samurai Japanese Cuisine, Sushi Grill, and Bar

            Hi everyone, today we are taking a trip to Samurai Japanese Restaurant. It is a small restaurant located on Sangani Blvd, across the stree from the Wal-Mart Supercenter in D'Iberville, MS. The atmosphere of the restaurant, though small, is very quiet and relaxing with relaxing music playing quietly in the background.     Once seated your server brings out hot towel to clean your hands, which is a great touch. Especially in the winter when even just 2 minutes outside and your fingers will be ice cold. Then once you're ready the server will take your order. My mom and I only waited about 5 minutes and the server brought out our soups, salad, and spring rolls. They were served hot and delicious  😋. Then about 5 minutes later our food arrived.
