Texas Roadhouse

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers to another exciting location episode! Last week we discussed the restaurant Ruby Tuesday and it's delicious smash burgers, steak, barbeque chicken, and addictive fries. This week we are talking about my absolute favorite restaurant chain. I have been in love with this restaurant chain since I was a little girl living in Southern Ohio. The restaurant was an hour drive away from us and my cousins took us there. A certain cousin of mine, he knows who he is, I blame for getting me completely addicted to the rolls and honey cinnamon butter. Can you guess which restaurant I'm talking about? If your guess is Texas Roadhouse, you would be correct! So lets get started!

I have been going to Texas Roadhouse for years. A few years ago, on my birthday, they finally opened in Gulfport, MS. Best birthday present ever! I normally get a Texas Combo ^oz sirloin with grilled shrimp and fries. My parents get either the ribs or grilled pork chops. They also have what is called loaded apple sauce. It is apple sauce topped with cinnamon, brown sugar, and toasted marshmallows. It is definitely the best apple sauce I've ever had. It was recommended to me by a waitress there. It is not on menu and will have to be specially ordered, but worth it! The food is absolutely amazing as well as the service. Never had a bad experience at any location.

I have always loved horses and western style. Texas Roadhouse has the western decor nailed to a T. With country music star memorabilia, cute Texas style animal figurines, neon signs, and country music playing it is definitely a spot to check out. However, it does get rather busy around 5 o'clock. I recommend downloading their app. It is super user friendly. It literally takes only a few seconds on the app to do call ahead seating and get added to the waitlist. If you want to order something to-go just open the app and start ordering. You pay right on the app and then pick it up when its ready. Texas Roadhouse is not affiliated with any delivery services such as Door Dash. You will have to go pick up your food at the location you selected on the app. The food and rolls are worth the drive though. If you choose to dine-in on your birthday they will bring you a saddle to sit on while the restaurant and staff wishes you a happy birthday.

As I have said in previous articles, I am no food critic, but I would still give Texas Roadhouse 5 full stars. I definitely recommend it if you ever get a chance to eat there. This wraps up another exciting location episode. Don't forget to check back on Saturday, May 3rd for another Spirit Take Over Episode.

    Until next time fellow Adventurers!
