Spirit Take Over Episode: 11

  


  Welcome back my fellow Adventurers to another exciting episode where I, Spirit, take over the blog and wrap up the week. Last week mom discussed cruise drink packages and Olive Garden. This week we covered a special lotion for sunburns and Taranto's restaurant. So let's get started!



    The Super Smooth Body Lotion my mom uses smells pawsome! It has a light but sweet floral scent to it, and makes her skin really soft. It also helps her heal and recover from sunburns quickly. Which is a good thing since she has sensitive skin and burns easily.

    Now for the hidden gem called Taranto's. Everything smelled pawsome! It was a bit loud, but that was because we attended a luncheon with a lot of people. Service was really quick and friendly. This place is really well known for their seafood. And if the shrimp that a lot of our table ordered and the crawfish that the next table over ordered taste as good as it smelled, I can see why Taranto's is famous for the seafood. They even won a couple awards. The restaurant is small and parking is limited so plan accordingly.





    Well that about wraps up the week. I definitely recommend trying the lotion next time you get a sunburn. Taranto's is definitely a must visit if you get the chance. Join us next Tuesday for a new episode of Travel Tips and Tricks.

One of the restaurants where my family likes to eat is Woody’s Roadside Bar and Grill located on Highway 605/ Lorraine Rd. I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times and not once have I ever had bad service. All the employees are super nice and upbeat, and the food is amazing. My mom normally gets the chicken strips and fries while I get the pulled pork sandwich, fries, and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries, in my opinion, are absolutely addictive. 😋 I normally can’t finish all of mine, but that is ok because I take it home for leftovers to put in my lunch box for the next time I work at my part-time job.     I highly recommend eating here if you have the chance. The atmosphere is fun, the staff and food is amazing. It is a little loud in the restaurant so if you are looking for some place a little quieter, then this may not be for you. Ship Island Excursions Finally Open for The Season!

      Welcome back my fellow Adventures! I hope you enjoyed the latest episode of Travel Tips and Tricks Tuesday. I know all of you are wondering where we are going this week. Well, this is more like an announcement, because I personally won't be going till its warmer. However, for those that want to go to a really great beach in this cooler weather the Ship Island Excursions Ferry is opening back up for the season! Starting tomorrow, Friday, March 21, the ferry will start taking people back to Ship Island.     Tickets start at $44 for adults. They do offer different prices for seniors, kids, and military as well. The ferry ride takes about an hour to get to the Island. Get to the port early to get a good seat. They do offer concession stands on the boat and on the island, to be sure to bring extra money with you because it does cost extra. Samurai Japanese Cuisine, Sushi Grill, and Bar

            Hi everyone, today we are taking a trip to Samurai Japanese Restaurant. It is a small restaurant located on Sangani Blvd, across the stree from the Wal-Mart Supercenter in D'Iberville, MS. The atmosphere of the restaurant, though small, is very quiet and relaxing with relaxing music playing quietly in the background.     Once seated your server brings out hot towel to clean your hands, which is a great touch. Especially in the winter when even just 2 minutes outside and your fingers will be ice cold. Then once you're ready the server will take your order. My mom and I only waited about 5 minutes and the server brought out our soups, salad, and spring rolls. They were served hot and delicious  😋. Then about 5 minutes later our food arrived.
