Travel Tips and Tricks Episode: 13

  


  Welcome back to another exciting episode of Travel Tips and Tricks. Last week I talked about Drink Packages and whether or not they would be right for your trip. This week we are going to talk about a special lotion that I discovered thanks to a former co-worker and family friend, who gave me a bottle of it as a gift. This lotion is called Super Smooth So lets get started!

    The Super Smooth body lotion comes in several different scents, but I prefer the scent Beautiful Day. It's a refreshingly sweet scent that I absolutely love. It also makes the skin nice and soft without must of a residue like other lotions. What makes the lotion so special is that is works really well on sunburns. It has an ingredient in it called Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, that helps take the sting and heat out of the burns. It also helps heal the burns quickly too. If you get a bad sunburn from the beach, working outside, playground, etc, I recommend a cold shower to clean up and cool down a bit before putting on the lotion. Within just a few hours your sunburn will feel so much better and as long as you keep applying it to the sunburn a couple times a day it should heal a lot quicker.

    You can buy this lotion on Walmart.com, because this lotion is not available in-store. I definitely recommend this lotion when traveling. Well that wraps up another episode of Travel Tips and Tricks. I hope this helps you next time you get a sunburn.

One of the restaurants where my family likes to eat is Woody’s Roadside Bar and Grill located on Highway 605/ Lorraine Rd. I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times and not once have I ever had bad service. All the employees are super nice and upbeat, and the food is amazing. My mom normally gets the chicken strips and fries while I get the pulled pork sandwich, fries, and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries, in my opinion, are absolutely addictive. 😋 I normally can’t finish all of mine, but that is ok because I take it home for leftovers to put in my lunch box for the next time I work at my part-time job.     I highly recommend eating here if you have the chance. Ship Island Excursions Finally Open for The Season!

      Welcome back my fellow Adventures! I hope you enjoyed the latest episode of Travel Tips and Tricks Tuesday. I know all of you are wondering where we are going this week. Well, this is more like an announcement, because I personally won't be going till its warmer. However, for those that want to go to a really great beach in this cooler weather the Ship Island Excursions Ferry is opening back up for the season! Starting tomorrow, Friday, March 21, the ferry will start taking people back to Ship Island.     Tickets start at $44 for adults. They do offer different prices for seniors, kids, and military as well. The ferry ride takes about an hour to get to the Island. Get to the port early to get a good seat. They do offer concession stands on the boat and on the island, to be sure to bring extra money with you because it does cost extra. Prices for food, drinks, snacks, lounger and umbrella rentals, and souvenirs really isn't that bad.      Th...

Samurai Japanese Cuisine, Sushi Grill, and Bar

            Hi everyone, today we are taking a trip to Samurai Japanese Restaurant. It is a small restaurant located on Sangani Blvd, across the stree from the Wal-Mart Supercenter in D'Iberville, MS. The atmosphere of the restaurant, though small, is very quiet and relaxing with relaxing music playing quietly in the background.     Once seated your server brings out hot towel to clean your hands, which is a great touch. Especially in the winter when even just 2 minutes outside and your fingers will be ice cold. Then once you're ready the server will take your order. My mom and I only waited about 5 minutes and the server brought out our soups, salad, and spring rolls. They were served hot and delicious  😋. Then about 5 minutes later our food arrived.
