Spirit Take Over Episode: 13

   


 Welcome back my fellow Adventurers to another exciting episode where I, Spirit, take over and wrap up the week. This week we talked about the fun of wearing matching shirts on vacation and making them too. We also got to visit the new Pedro's location. So let's get started!

    On our last episode of Travel Tips and Tricks we talked about the fun of matching shirts and making them. I think its a fun idea. Especially, if you are making your own shirt designs. You can design the shirts however you want. You can also choose what color shirts you want to do too. So I highly recommend doing it and then showing them off on your trip!





    Now to the trip to the new Pedro's in Gulfport, MS. Unfortunately, I have bad news. There is still no dancefloor! I still can't bust a move to the fun music. I tried and slipped on the table almost landing in the bean dip. So embarrassing! Thankfully the waitress was really nice about it. The food smelled pawsome when it arrived! The decor is pawsome too. Definitely a must see if you are ever in Gulfport, MS. Well that about wraps up the week. As my mom said in her update video yesterday, we won't be able to go to Ship Island until the weather clears up and my mom gets another day off. So we will keep you updated on that. Woody’s Roadside Bar and Grill

One of the restaurants where my family likes to eat is Woody’s Roadside Bar and Grill located on Highway 605/ Lorraine Rd. I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times and not once have I ever had bad service. All the employees are super nice and upbeat, and the food is amazing. My mom normally gets the chicken strips and fries while I get the pulled pork sandwich, fries, and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries, in my opinion, are absolutely addictive. 😋 I normally can’t finish all of mine, but that is ok because I take it home for leftovers to put in my lunch box for the next time I work at my part-time job.     I highly recommend eating here if you have the chance. The atmosphere is fun, the staff and food is amazing. It is a little loud in the restaurant so if you are looking for some place a little quieter, then this may not be for you. Ship Island Excursions Finally Open for The Season!

      Welcome back my fellow Adventures! I hope you enjoyed the latest episode of Travel Tips and Tricks Tuesday. I know all of you are wondering where we are going this week. Well, this is more like an announcement, because I personally won't be going till its warmer. However, for those that want to go to a really great beach in this cooler weather the Ship Island Excursions Ferry is opening back up for the season! Starting tomorrow, Friday, March 21, the ferry will start taking people back to Ship Island.     Tickets start at $44 for adults. They do offer different prices for seniors, kids, and military as well. The ferry ride takes about an hour to get to the Island. Get to the port early to get a good seat. They do offer concession stands on the boat and on the island, to be sure to bring extra money with you because it does cost extra. Samurai Japanese Cuisine, Sushi Grill, and Bar

            Hi everyone, today we are taking a trip to Samurai Japanese Restaurant. It is a small restaurant located on Sangani Blvd, across the stree from the Wal-Mart Supercenter in D'Iberville, MS. The atmosphere of the restaurant, though small, is very quiet and relaxing with relaxing music playing quietly in the background.     Once seated your server brings out hot towel to clean your hands, which is a great touch. Especially in the winter when even just 2 minutes outside and your fingers will be ice cold. Then once you're ready the server will take your order. My mom and I only waited about 5 minutes and the server brought out our soups, salad, and spring rolls. They were served hot and delicious  😋. Then about 5 minutes later our food arrived.
