Travel Tips and Tricks Episode: 14

Welcome Back my fellow Adventurers to another exciting episode of Travel Tips and Tricks! Last week I shared with you about a special lotion called Super Smooth that comes in really handy when you have a sunburn. This week I am going to talk about the importance of planning your route when traveling. So let's get started!

Now, I know, that planning what you are going to do on your trip is all you can think about. However, don't forget to plan the route you are going to take to get to your destination. It takes careful planning so that you can make it from Point A to Point B safely and quickly. If you are driving to your vacation destination then you will need to plan which roads you are going to take, which exits, which turns, all of it. Otherwise you will most likely get lost. Don't leave it up to your GPS to make all those decisions. GPS is not 100% accurate.

If you are flying, make sure you book the correct flight, and once you land you will need to make sure you have a safe way to get to where you are staying. If you are being picked up, then you are covered. If you rent a vehicle then you will need to research the best route from the airport to the place you are staying.

If you are taking a cruise, you still have to plan a route to get from your home to the port where your cruise ship is docked. Again do not put all your faith in GPS to get you there. I've used GPS before and it has tried to lead me in the wrong direction in the past. It had said my destination was a few more miles down the road as I was passing my destination. Knowing your route will help, so that if your GPS is trying to lead you astray you'll know immediately. Well that wraps up another episode of Travel Tips and Tricks. Be sure to check back with us on Thursday for another Location Episode!

    Until next Time fellow Adventurers!
