Travel Tips and Tricks Episode:22

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! It is once again time for another exciting episode of Tavel Tips and Tricks! Last week we talked about the importance of being early when traveling. This week we are going to talk about planning what clothes to pack even if you are surprised with a mystery trip and you have no clue where you are going. So let’s get started!

For most trips it can be easy pretty obvious what kind of clothes to pack. For example, a cruise to the Caribbean or Bahamas would require swimsuits, shorts, short sleeved shirts, and sandles. Be mindful for any clothes requirements for excursions such as closed toed shoes. Another example would be a trip to some place up north or a Christmas trip to a ski lodge, where packing warm is a must. But what do you do when you have no clue where the destination is and no one will tell you? Without ruining the surprise you will need to start asking questions. Such as: will I need hold, mild, or cold weather clothes? Hot being a tropical or desert type trip. Mild would be considered your normal everyday clothes. And cold would be like a ski lodge or someplace cold enough to require a jacket. Another question would be is if you need rain gear, hiking gear, etc. Will you need to wear a dress (like for a formal night on a cruise).

Simple questions like these and more can help you plan for a mystery destination without ruining the surprise. If the person who booked the adventure lives with you, then have them check to make sure you packed the correct type of clothes even if it means having them sit through a fashion show and saying yes or no to each outfit. You can even ask them afterwards which ones would be better for each day so that you don’t overpack. Well that pretty much wraps up this episode of Travel Tips and Tricks. One of the restaurants where my family likes to eat is Woody’s Roadside Bar and Grill located on Highway 605/ Lorraine Rd. I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times and not once have I ever had bad service. All the employees are super nice and upbeat, and the food is amazing. My mom normally gets the chicken strips and fries while I get the pulled pork sandwich, fries, and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries, in my opinion, are absolutely addictive. 😋 I normally can’t finish all of mine, but that is ok because I take it home for leftovers to put in my lunch box for the next time I work at my part-time job.     I highly recommend eating here if you have the chance. Ship Island Excursions Finally Open for The Season!

      Welcome back my fellow Adventures! I hope you enjoyed the latest episode of Travel Tips and Tricks Tuesday. I know all of you are wondering where we are going this week. Well, this is more like an announcement, because I personally won't be going till its warmer. However, for those that want to go to a really great beach in this cooler weather the Ship Island Excursions Ferry is opening back up for the season! Starting tomorrow, Friday, March 21, the ferry will start taking people back to Ship Island.     Tickets start at $44 for adults. They do offer different prices for seniors, kids, and military as well. The ferry ride takes about an hour to get to the Island. Get to the port early to get a good seat. They do offer concession stands on the boat and on the island, to be sure to bring extra money with you because it does cost extra. Samurai Japanese Cuisine, Sushi Grill, and Bar

            Hi everyone, today we are taking a trip to Samurai Japanese Restaurant. It is a small restaurant located on Sangani Blvd, across the stree from the Wal-Mart Supercenter in D'Iberville, MS. The atmosphere of the restaurant, though small, is very quiet and relaxing with relaxing music playing quietly in the background.     Once seated your server brings out hot towel to clean your hands, which is a great touch. Especially in the winter when even just 2 minutes outside and your fingers will be ice cold. Then once you're ready the server will take your order. My mom and I only waited about 5 minutes and the server brought out our soups, salad, and spring rolls. They were served hot and delicious  ðŸ˜‹. Then about 5 minutes later our food arrived.
