Spirit Take Over Episode: 24

Welcome back fellow Adventurers to another weekly wrap up with your favorite host, me! Spirit! On this week’s episode of Travel Tips and Tricks we learned a new name for non alcoholic drinks. And on Thursday we did another new product review. So let’s get started!

This week we learned a new name for non alcoholic drinks. A drink that would normally have alcohol in it, like a strawberry daiquiri, but is made without alcohol is normally called a virgin drink. However on a cruise ship it is called a zero- proof drink. So next time you’re on a cruise ship you’ll have to ask for a zero- proof instead of a virgin drink.

On the product review we talked out the viral women’s electric shaver that has been all over TikTok. My mom really seems to like it. She even threw out all her other razors. I honestly don’t know why humans have a problem with hair. I say let it grow. I mean I have long hair and don’t have any issues with it. But I will admit that the shaver did help my mom’s skin. She was always really itchy and miserable after shaving until she started using this new one. So I guess it’s not so bad.

Well that pretty much wraps up the week. Don’t forget that Tuesday will be a new episode of Travel Tips and Tricks! And Thursday will be either a new location episode or product review!

One of the restaurants where my family likes to eat is Woody’s Roadside Bar and Grill located on Highway 605/ Lorraine Rd. I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times and not once have I ever had bad service. All the employees are super nice and upbeat, and the food is amazing. My mom normally gets the chicken strips and fries while I get the pulled pork sandwich, fries, and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries, in my opinion, are absolutely addictive. 😋 I normally can’t finish all of mine, but that is ok because I take it home for leftovers to put in my lunch box for the next time I work at my part-time job.     I highly recommend eating here if you have the chance. The atmosphere is fun, the staff and food is amazing. It is a little loud in the restaurant so if you are looking for some place a little quieter, then this may not be for you. Ship Island Excursions Finally Open for The Season!

      Welcome back my fellow Adventures! I hope you enjoyed the latest episode of Travel Tips and Tricks Tuesday. I know all of you are wondering where we are going this week. Well, this is more like an announcement, because I personally won't be going till its warmer. However, for those that want to go to a really great beach in this cooler weather the Ship Island Excursions Ferry is opening back up for the season! Starting tomorrow, Friday, March 21, the ferry will start taking people back to Ship Island.     Tickets start at $44 for adults. They do offer different prices for seniors, kids, and military as well. The ferry ride takes about an hour to get to the Island. Get to the port early to get a good seat. They do offer concession stands on the boat and on the island, to be sure to bring extra money with you because it does cost extra. Samurai Japanese Cuisine, Sushi Grill, and Bar

            Hi everyone, today we are taking a trip to Samurai Japanese Restaurant. It is a small restaurant located on Sangani Blvd, across the stree from the Wal-Mart Supercenter in D'Iberville, MS. The atmosphere of the restaurant, though small, is very quiet and relaxing with relaxing music playing quietly in the background.     Once seated your server brings out hot towel to clean your hands, which is a great touch. Especially in the winter when even just 2 minutes outside and your fingers will be ice cold. Then once you're ready the server will take your order. My mom and I only waited about 5 minutes and the server brought out our soups, salad, and spring rolls. They were served hot and delicious  😋. Then about 5 minutes later our food arrived.
