Spirit Take Over Episode: 24

Welcome back fellow Adventurers to another weekly wrap up with your favorite host, me! Spirit! On this week’s episode of Travel Tips and Tricks we learned a new name for non alcoholic drinks. And on Thursday we did another new product review. So let’s get started! This week we learned a new name for non alcoholic drinks. A drink that would normally have alcohol in it, like a strawberry daiquiri, but is made without alcohol is normally called a virgin drink. However on a cruise ship it is called a zero- proof drink. So next time you’re on a cruise ship you’ll have to ask for a zero- proof instead of a virgin drink. On the product review we talked out the viral women’s electric shaver that has been all over TikTok. My mom really seems to like it. She even threw out all her other razors. I honestly don’t know why humans have a problem with hair. I say let it grow. I mean I have long hair and don’t have any issues with it. But I will admit that the shaver did help my mom’s ...

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers to another exciting product review. Last time I shared with you my favorite BBQ sauce. This time I am going to talk about the women’s electric razor that has been all over TikTok recently. So let’s get started! If you are like me and have sensitive skin and prone to razor burn bumps and really itchy skin after shaving then I’ve got the razor for you. I got so tired of being itchy and having patches of angry red razor burn bumps. Lotion didn’t really help and I have a skin allergy to Aloe Vera, so anything with Aloe Vera would do more harm than good. I tried different brands of disposable razors and electric razor but found no difference. I honestly didn’t know what to do. But then I came across an add for an electric razor that is only sold in the TikTok Shop. I kept seeing more and more adds and reviews for it whenever I would scroll on TikTok. The ads and reviews all said that it doesn’t cause any bumps and doesn’t nick you. At first I was ...

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! Time for another exciting episode of Travel Tips and Tricks! Last week we debated between dresses vs. pullovers. This week we are going to talk about non- alcoholic drinks on a cruise. I know it sounds silly, but bear with me. I do have a reason. So let’s get started! Everyone knows that a drink that normally has alcohol in it, like a daiquiri, but is made without it is called a virgin drink. However, on a cruise ship it goes by a different name. Virgin drinks on a cruise ship are called zero- proof. So for example, a virgin strawberry daiquiri on a cruise ship is called a zero-proof strawberry daiquiri. So next time you want a drink, but don’t want the alcohol while you are cruising, you’ll have your ask for a zero- proof. When I first started cruising I didn’t even know this. I hope this helps. Until next time my fellow Adventurers! S

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! It is once again time to wrap up the week with your favorite host, me Spirit! This week we debated between dresses vs cover ups on Travel Tips and Tricks, and we revisited the Gulfport Pedro’s. Talk about a busy week and so little time to wrap it up. So let’s get started! On this week’s Travel Tips and Tricks we debated between dresses vs. cover ups. I honestly don’t know why everyone doesn’t just wear fur coats like I do. Then you wouldn’t really need clothes. Though having a fur coats isn’t so fun in hot summer weather but at least I don’t have to change to go somewhere. But I do love my sunglasses and collar. As for the location episode, we revisited the Gulfport Pedro’s. The food is so yummy. Still no dance floor though. I almost managed to snag a chip while everyone was talking about the upcoming trip, but mom caught me red pawed at the last second. Seriously, if people food wasn’t supposed to be eaten by dogs too then why does it sm...

Gulfport Pedro’s Part: 2

Welcome beck my fellow Adventurers! Time for another Location Episode! Last week we weren’t able to do a location episode, and ended up doing a product review. This week we are re-visiting the Gulfport Pedro’s. So let’s get started! We hadn’t visited the Gulfport Pedro’s since they opened. So I thought it was about time to re-visit the restaurant and see how it is doing. The food was still as good as ever. The decor at this location is definitely still my favorite. The tv screens are still gigantic as ever. I absolutely love the light up tree at the hostess stand. I finally got a better picture of the outside. It is through a window shade but you should still be able to see fairly clearly. I love the outside flower chandelier. The staff is always super nice, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. If you haven’t checked out Pedro’s then you definitely should. Well that pretty much wraps up the location episode. Don’t forget to check back on Saturday when Spirit takes over and wraps up...

Welcome back fellow Adventurers! Time for another episode of Travel Tips and Tricks! Last week we debated between flats vs. heels on a cruise ship. This week we are going to debate between dresses vs. pullovers/ cover ups/ wraps on a cruise ship. So let’s get started! Majority of the time on a cruise you will probably be walking around in a swimsuit. However in the shopping area, casino, and buffet/ dinning area you will need be required to cover up. So do you just put on a simple sundress over your wet swimsuit or do you use a pull over or shawl/wrap? I prefer a pull over or shawl or wrap. Most pullovers look like dresses anyway. And if you have a big enough shawl you can wear it like a dress. If you do decide to wear a sundress, make sure you don’t mind getting pool water and sunscreen on it. So the choice is really going to be based on your personal preference. However if you are using one of those swim shirts, like the Magellan swim shirts I mentioned in a previous article,...

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! Time for the weekly wrap up with your favorite host, me Spirit! This week on Travel Tips and Tricks we debated whether to pack heels, flats, or both for an Elegant Night on a cruise. And we did a product review instead of a location this week. So let’s get started! The debate between heels or flats or both is very interesting since I don’t even wear shoes. Why do humans even need shoes anyway? You can’t feel anything with them on. I’m taking the fourth option in this debate, and choosing no shoes. You have better balance and can feel when the ship moves. As for the product review, my mom chose her favorite BBQ sauce. It smells pawsome but mom won’t let me have a lick. Though according to my nose I do agree with her honey and orange theory. Though the sauce has been quite elusive in the grocery store. I’m sure we’ll sniff one out soon enough. I’ll report back when we have successfully hunted down a bottle. Well that about wraps up our ...

Product Review Episode: 1

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! Unfortunately, I do not have a location for this week. However, I do have a product I found that I want to share with everyone. I hope you guys like BBQ, because I found the best BBQ sauce. So let’s get started! As some of you may recall, I did mention that I was trying to find out what BBQ sauce they use at Big Play, because it is really good. Well, I finally got my answer. The brand of BBQ sauce they use is called J. Lee’s Gourmet BBQ sauce! It does come in other flavors, but I’m hooked on the original. It’s so sweet like it has honey in it. However, it has a citrus freshness to it as well, maybe it has orange in it. Either way it is this travel blogger’s new favorite BBQ sauce. I’ve been trying to get a bottle of it, but it’s been sold out in my local grocery stores. Hoping to get one soon! Well, that pretty much wraps up this product review. Don’t forget to check back with us on Saturday when Spirit takes over and wraps up the week. I...

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! Time for another exciting episode of Travel Tips and Tricks! Last week we talked about monitoring the price for your cruise to possibly get your cruise to possibly get a price adjustment. This week we are going to debate between flats and heels on a cruise ship. So let’s get started! I do not know about other cruise lines but on Carnival Cruise Line they have what is called Elegant Night. This is a night where you get dressed up and go eat dinner in the main dinning room. So ladies, that means pretty dresses, but do you wear heels or flats? Heels are fine to wear on a cruise as long as the water is calm. However, if the water is rough during Elegant Night you might want to consider flats because the floor will be moving really bad. I personally would bring a pair of heels and a pair of flats that way you have what you need no matter the situation the ocean presents. Calm seas you can wear heels. Rough seas wear flats. Take both and your s...

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers to the week wrap up where I, your host Spirit, takes over and reviews everything that has been going on this week. It was a busy week too with the location episode being a day late. Well let’s get started! On this week’s episode of Travel Tips and Tricks we talked about how to possibly get a good price on a cruise. After you’ve booked your cruise be sure to monitor the prices for your cruise and if the price drops more between the time you book and the day you board the ship contact your travel agent. They might just adjust the price for you. For this week’s location we decided to do Panda Palace Buffet. The food smelled pawsome and I almost had a bite of a spring roll, before mom caught me. Seriously, if people food was not meant for dogs it shouldn’t smell so pawsome! Instead I’m stuck with dog food. It smells good too, but not as pawsome as people food. Well that about wraps up this week. Tomorrow starts an all new week. So be s...

Panda Palace Buffet

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers to another exciting location episode! Last week we covered my outing that I had. This week we are going to talk about Panda Palace Buffet. It is a Chinese food restaurant located in the Gulfport Crossroads Shopping Center, in front of the Cinemark 16 Theater. So let’s get started! This particular Chinese restaurant is one of my Dad’s favorites. It’s a buffet style restaurant, with amazing food. They also have American food as well for those traveling with picky eaters. There is plenty of seating. They even have a sushi bar for those that want some sushi. The entire center of the buffet area is completely dedicated to fresh fruit and desserts. They even have an ice cream cooler in the corner as well. The staff has always been really friendly and fairly good about keeping your drink filled. Just place your cup at the end of the table when you are getting low. This place is definitely a must visit if you are ever visiting Gulfport, MS! Well t...

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers to another exciting episode of Travel Tips and Tricks. Last week we talked about how to plan out your clothes for a trip even if it is a surprise trip and have no clue where you are going. This week we are going to talk about a trick a friend of mine told me about for cruises. So let’s get started! From working retail for 10 years I know a lot of people like to save money and get a good price. Cruises can be expensive and prices do vary between cruise lines. However, you can still get a good price. Now for this trick to work you would have to be going through a travel agent and I know Carnival Cruise Travel Agents do this when asked. Once you book a Carnival Cruise through on of their travel agents, you will need to monitor the price of the cruise you booked daily. If the price becomes cheaper than what you are currently paying you can contact your Carnival Cruise Travel Agent and ask for a price adjustment and they will refund you the diffe...

Welcome back fellow Adventurers to another exciting weekly wrap up with your favorite German Shepherd, me Spirit! We have finally reached episode 20, and what a week to wrap up! From learning how to pack clothes even for a surprise trip to bowling, fried chicken, a first live on TikTok, and exploring the new Buc’cees! We have so much to wrap up and so little time to do it so let’s get started! On this week’s Travel Tips and Tricks we learned how to plan clothes for trips even if it is a surprise secret location. Thankfully, all I need are my essentials such as my collar, sunglasses, food, and water. Not sure why humans pack so much. Those big suitcases look like moveable mountains to me. But they can be really pawsome to ride on! Our adventure started first thing Tuesday morning for some bowling. Unfortunately they don’t make bowling ball small enough for me, and they wouldn’t let me use a tennis ball. So I sat back and played guard dog while enjoying the neon lights, and l...
