Full Day of Fun 😁

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers. It is time for another location episode! This week I had a day out. Some of you even got to watch as I went through the new Buc’cees that opened recently in Pass Christian, MS. That is right! I am now doing LIVES on TikTok! I will have to work out some sort of schedule for it but I will try to let everyone know before hand when I decide to go live. Tuesday was a busy day with bowling at Big Play, eating at Cajuns, and then checking out the new Buc’cees. We have a lot to cover so let’s get started! We started off the morning by going to Big Play to see if we could finally go bowling, and we were successful. I was finally able to break out my personal bowling ball and Converse looking bowling shoes after they have sat in my closet for a few years. Although the shoes may look like Converse, they are not. They are actually from a brand called BSI, that make bowling shoes. They do run pretty true to size. As for my ball it is a royal blue, black, and si...

Travel Tips and Tricks Episode:22

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! It is once again time for another exciting episode of Tavel Tips and Tricks! Last week we talked about the importance of being early when traveling. This week we are going to talk about planning what clothes to pack even if you are surprised with a mystery trip and you have no clue where you are going. So let’s get started! For most trips it can be easy pretty obvious what kind of clothes to pack. For example, a cruise to the Caribbean or Bahamas would require swimsuits, shorts, short sleeved shirts, and sandles. Be mindful for any clothes requirements for excursions such as closed toed shoes. Another example would be a trip to some place up north or a Christmas trip to a ski lodge, where packing warm is a must. But what do you do when you have no clue where the destination is and no one will tell you? Without ruining the surprise you will need to start asking questions. Such as: will I need hold, mild, or cold weather clothes? Hot being a tr...

Spirit Take Over Episode: 19

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers to another exciting episode where your favorite German Shepherd, I Spirit, take over and wrap up the week. This week we talked about being early, and we revisited Olive Garden. So let’s get started! In the most recent episode of Travel Tips and Tricks we talked about being early to get on the cruise ship or flight. It’s a good idea so you don’t get left behind. Plus if it’s a big airport, then you can explore and smell everything. Maybe even find some new travel treats. Yummy! Speaking of yummy treats, we revisited Olive Garden this week. I even managed to sneak a bite of a buttery breadstick. It tasted really pawsome, until my mom caught me. I did get a small tummy ache after, but worth it. Probably would have ate the whole thing if I hadn’t been caught. Well that about wraps things up for this weekly wrap up. Don’t forget to check back on Tuesday for a new episode of Travel Tips and Tricks. After all, tomorrow starts a new week. Whic...

Olive Garden Part: 2

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! It is once again time for another location episode. Last week we cover Jet’s Pizza. This week we are revisiting one of my favorite Italian restaurants, Olive Garden. So let’s get started! I know we have visited this restaurant before, but I tried something new on their menu and had to share my experience. My mom and I revisited Olive Garden this week during a shopping trip. I felt like trying something new that I’ve never had before. I ordered Chicken Tortelloni. I was a little nervous whether I would like it or not. When the food arrived I tried it and didn’t like it…I loved it! The chicken came in strips like they do with the Chicken Alfredo. The Tortelloni noodles were big and filled with cheese. I believe it’s called Asiago cheese and then topped with Asiago sauce. I highly recommend getting it if you get the chance. Sorry this post is short, but that pretty much wraps up this episode. Don’t forget to check back on Saturday when Spiri...

Travel Tips and Tricks Episode: 21

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! It is once again time for another fun episode of Travel Tips and Tricks! Last week we talked about whether or not to book excursions early online or when you get to your ship or hotel. This week we are going to talk about getting to your ship/flight early. So let’s get started! The reason I suggest getting to your cruise ship or flight early is because of you’re late the ship or plane will leave without you. Being early does also have some benefits as well. On a cruise you are given a time slot to be at the parking garage to get on the boat. If you get there a few minutes early you can beat some of the crowd. Which will help you get through security faster and onto the ship faster. And it will also be easier to find a place to park. It is recommended that for a flight that you get there a few hours early so you can get checked in and through security. Plus it will give you time to explore the airport if it is really big with stuff to do. ...

Spirit Take Over Episode: 18

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers to another exciting episode where I, your favorite German Shepherd Spirit, wrap up the week! Did you miss me? I missed you! Especially since mom didn’t let me photo bomb this week. But she did let me have a small piece of Italian sausage to make up for it so I’m better now. Anyway let’s get started with the wrap up! On this weeks episode of Travel Tips and Tricks we talked about which is better when booking excursions, online or when you get to your location/ hotel or ship? I know my family prefers to book early online so we don’t have to worry about it filling up before we can get a ticket. Granted there are times where you may not have time to book early online. Just be sure you’ve done your research before booking. As for the location episode this week, it was a new pizza place called Jet’s Pizza. It’s a place my grandparents found and their Detroit Style pizza is really pawsome! I don’t really know what Detroit is. My mom says it’s a b...

Jet’s Pizza

Image
Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! It is once again time to cover another location! If you remember the hint I gave you was pizza. Well now it’s time to reveal that location. As you can see by the title, the location is Jet’s pizza. It is something my parents discovered. So let’s get started! Jet’s Pizza is located on Hwy 67 in a small strip of stores by the Chevron Gas Station. One of the things they have that makes this place unique is their Detroit Style Pizza, also known as a type of deep dish pizza. It is really good and has both a lot of cheese and sauce. One square piece fills me right up. I’m normally a New York/ hand-tossed person. I still am, but a deep dish/ Detroit Style pizza from Jet’s is good every once in a while. They have so much on their menu and this blogger can’t wait to try more things from them in the future. Next time we get Jet’s Pizza I’ll let you know what I get and how it was. Well that about wraps up this episode for location. Don’t forget to check back on...

Travel Tips and Tricks Episode: 20πŸŽ‰πŸ₯³

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers to our 20th episode of Travel Tips and Tricks! It’s so exciting to finally hit 20 episodes! Last week we talked about Carnival Cruise Lines specialty Cabins. This week we are going to talk about when the best time is to book excursions. Should you book them early online or when you are on the cruise ship or location? Let’s find out! Time to get started!   Booking excursions early online allows you to read the reviews and see the rating for the excursions. You also don’t have to worry about the excursions of your choice filling up before you can book it. My mom and I prefer to do this route so we can make sure that we have a safe and fun time on the excursions of our choice. Because if you book when you are either on the ship or at the location you won’t know much. You could easily book an excursion that sounds like fun, but then be stuck on an excursion with worn out or broken equipment. Meanwhile doing it online early you ca...

Spirit Take Over Episode: 17

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers to another episode where, I, Spirit take over an wrap up the week. Are you ready? This week on Travel Tips and Tricks we talked about Specialty Cabins and Suites on the larger Carnival Cruise Ships and how to find them on the website. We even got to eat some BBQ at Murky Waters. So let's get started!   On Travel Tips and Tricks we talked about the Specialty Cabins and Suites on the larger Carnival Cruise Ships called Family Harbor, Cloud 9 Spa Staterooms, and Havana Cabana. Each one seems like fun. Maybe one day I can try them all. Just remember when you get to the part where you can select your room type, scroll through and check out the specialty ones too.    The location this week is Murky Waters. The location in Gulfport did have a small stage, and if you push some tables to the side they could easily have a dancefloor. Then I could finally bust a move. I, unfortunately, wasn't able to sneak a bite of any of th...

Murky Waters

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers to another exciting location episode! Last week I revealed where I went for my birthday, and now it is once again time for me to reveal the new location. Anyone ever heard of Murky Waters? If you are a local then you know; however, for the ones that aren't local and never heard of the place now is your chance. So let's get started!    There are 2 locations where you can enjoy Murky Waters, Ocean Springs and Gulfport. I went to the one in Ocean Springs a few years ago, and just recently was able to go to the one in Gulfport. The one in Ocean Springs is located in the downtown area. The location in Gulfport is located in a downtown area near the beach. I have mixed feelings about both locations. While I love the look of the Gulfport location, I like the BBQ at the Ocean Springs location more. Granted the food was good at both locations. The Gulfport location does lose points on the gumbo. However they did gain a f...

Travel Tips and Tricks Episode: 19

Welcome back fellow Adventures to another episode of Travel Tip and Tricks. Last week we talked about the importance of bringing plenty of snacks, drinks, and water. This week we are going to discuss an important tip that a friend gave me when you are booking a cruise. More specifically a cruise cabin. So let's get started!     Some people don't know this, especially first time cruisers, but on some of Carnival Cruise Lines larger ships they actually have different types of cabins. Mostly found on the Carnival Vista Class ships and bigger, Carnival has 3 specialty type cabins and suites that are different from the normal cabins and suites. The areas these cabins are located are called Family Harbor, Cloud 9 Spa Staterooms, and Havana Cabana. Each specialty type comes with features and/or perks that no other cabins and suites have.     The Family Harbor cabins and suites as the name suggests is the designated family area and is located near other ...

Spirit Take Over Episode: 16

Welcome back my fellow Adventurers. It is once again time for you favorite German Shepard, me Spirit, to wrap up the week. This has been a busy week and there is so much to wrap up for this week. So let's get started!     For Travel Tips and Tricks we talked about the importance of packing plenty of snacks, drinks, and water. I personally like snacking on some bone treats during a road trip. My water helps me stay more alert while also acting as a guard dog. Gotta stay hydrated while on guard duty!      As for my mom's birthday, we went to 2 locations this time, Osaka's and Big Play Entertainment. Osaka's was really fun. They gave us dinner and a show! I even got to take a bite of a spring roll when mom wasn't looking. It tasted pawsome! I would have ate more, but mom busted me. After eating we did go and walk it off a bit at Target and Wal-Mart, then it was off to the races at Big Play with fast go-karts. I couldn't go on because I'm too li...
