Texas Roadhouse

Image
Welcome back my fellow Adventurers to another exciting location episode! Last week we discussed the restaurant Ruby Tuesday and it's delicious smash burgers, steak, barbeque chicken, and addictive fries. This week we are talking about my absolute favorite restaurant chain. I have been in love with this restaurant chain since I was a little girl living in Southern Ohio. The restaurant was an hour drive away from us and my cousins took us there. A certain cousin of mine, he knows who he is, I blame for getting me completely addicted to the rolls and honey cinnamon butter. Can you guess which restaurant I'm talking about? If your guess is Texas Roadhouse, you would be correct! So lets get started!     I have been going to Texas Roadhouse for years. A few years ago, on my birthday, they finally opened in Gulfport, MS. Best birthday present ever! I normally get a Texas Combo ^oz sirloin with grilled shrimp and fries. My parents get either th...

Travel Tips and Tricks Episode: 9 Identification

Image
Welcome back my fellow Adventurers to another exciting episode of Travel Tips and Tricks. Last week we talked about how handy small travel bottles can be. This week we are discussing the importance of identification and keeping it on you while traveling. So without further adieu lets get started.     Having your ID with you is very important whether you are just going around town or traveling. So always make sure your ID and passport are up to date. If you are driving to your destination, then make sure you also have your vehicle insurance up to date as well. The reason for that is because if you get pulled over and neither is up to date you're going to be in bigger trouble then you already were. If you break down or something else happens you will need an up to date ID and insurance.      If you are on a cruise, it is a requirement to have a valid ID or passport (not expired) just to board the ship. You need it to get off the ship when dock...

Spirit Take Over Episode 6

Image
Welcome back fellow Adventurers to another Spirit Take Over episode! This week my mom covered how useful travel bottles are. Some travel bottles are even smaller than me, yet hold so much. I wonder how many treats I could fit into one of those bottles? Does anyone know?     We also got to eat at Ruby Tuesday this week. I was really good. Or at least it smelled pawsome. My mom says I can't have human food because it will make me sick. My mom and grandma really seemed to like it though. I even got a couple chances to photobomb. We hope you enjoyed this weeks episodes. We will see you again on Tuesday for a new episode of Travel Tips and Tricks!     See you next time my fellow Adventurers!     Spirit

Ruby Tuesday

Image
Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! Last week we covered Hobby Lobby, an arts and crafts store chain here in the South. This week we are talking about a really good restaurant located in D' Iberville, MS, just off Sangani Blvd. I am talking about Ruby Tuesday. So let's get started!     My family has been eating at Ruby Tuesday for years. I have never had bad service when eating at this restaurant. The wait staff has always been super really friendly. The food has always been amazing. My mom and I normally get the barbeque chicken, steamed broccoli, and mashed potatoes. This time; however, we mixed things up. My mom got a steak and I tried a smash burger for the first time. Everything; of course, was amazing. Ruby Tuesday fries are pretty addictive so be careful if you love fries.     Definitely recommend this restaurant if you ever visit D' Iberville, MS, for your next adventure. Again, I am no food critic, but I would give this restaurant 5 star...

Travel Tips and Tricks Episode: 8 Travel Bottles

Image
Welcome back fellow Adventurers for another exciting episode of Travel Tips and Tricks. Last week we talked about foldable make-up bags. This week we are going to discuss using travel bottles instead of the bigger bottles of shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, etc. I know it seems silly, but the travel bottles do make a difference when traveling. So let's get started.     Now I know a lot of us like to bring our own shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, etc. However, those bottles are normally big and bulky. They take up a lot of space and chances of a mess in your suitcase is likely, unless they are small enough to fit in a Ziplock bag where the mess is contained. Travel bottles, on the other hand, are a, fraction of the size and can hold more than enough for a week long trip or more. You can easily fit several bottles inside a Ziplock bag as well. If you have ever been on a plane before. then you know about travel bottles already. But those new to traveling...

Happy Easter!

Image
Happy Easter fellow Adventurers! I hope everyone is ready for the Easter Bunny! I know I am. Look at all the colorful eggs I've already found! I can't wait to sniff out some more! I'm not sure exactly what my family will do for Easter. I did hear something about turkey, so I know dinner will be pawsome! What about you my fellow Adventurers? Do you have any Easter traditions? Let me know in the comments. I look forward to reading about what you guys do for Easter!     Until next time Adventurers!     Spirit

Hobby Lobby

Image
Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! Last Thursday we covered Dollar General, a popular one-stop shop here in South Mississippi. This week we are going to cover one of my favorite places to shop for arts and craft supplies. If you are a local, you know i am talking about 1 of 2 places. While both places are good I still prefer this chain store over the other. I am, of course, referring talking about Hobby Lobby. So let's get started!        Currently in South Mississippi we have 2 Hobby Lobby stores close to me. The first one is in Gulfport, MS, at the corner of hwy 49 and Dedeaux Rd. The second one is located towards the back of the D'Iberville Promenade in D'Iberville, MS. Both locations are good. I don't really have a preference to which location is better. Both locations are huge and carry just about anything you might need for your art project or hobby.     It's my favorite store to get sketch books, jewelry making supplies, embroid...

Travel Tips and Tricks Tuesday Episode 7

Image
Welcome back my fellow adventurers for another exciting episode of Travel Tips and Tricks. Last week we talked about the safety of carrying cash with you when traveling. This week we are going to talk about a fun trick I discovered by accident for traveling with make-up and bathroom needs. I am referring to a foldable make-up bag! I know it sounds silly, since most make-up bags are big and bulky and you can't fit much in it. However, thanks to a gift from a family member my mom and I discovered the foldable make-up bags. So let's get started!     Now normally, a regular make-up bag is big and bulky with little in the way of pockets. The foldable make-up bag has several pockets. The types of pockets a foldable make-up bag offers might vary. However, the one I have has a large mesh pocket at the top, 2 smaller clear pockets and a small regular pocket in the middle, and an extra large zipper pocket at the bottom. Like I said, lots of pockets. The mesh pocket...

Small Shopping Trip!

Image
Welcome Back fellow Adventurers! This week we did a little shopping at Dollar General and I got to explore the store a little bit. This store has everything! They have a lot of smell good stuff, delicious treats, and I was even able to walk on water! Maybe it's part magic store too. This store is pawriffic! So many places to hide and photobomb from. I even made a new pinata friend.     After we got home I even got to explore a bit outside. It is definitely Spring. Flowers and trees blooming everywhere and the colors are so bright! Well that wraps up my section for this week.     Until next time fellow Adventurers!     Spirit

A 'One-Stop' Shop

Image
Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! Today we are going to visit a store that, at times, seems to be on almost every street corner. It is a place that is basically a 'one-stop shop' type of store. Which, when traveling, can come in handy. Especially if you have forgotten something while packing. I am, of course, referring to the store chain Dollar General. So let's get started!     I'm not sure about other states, but here in South Mississippi we have Dollar General stores in abundance. I personally have at least 3 or 4 of them within a 5 to 10 minute drive from my home. One of which is just right down the road. This store chain is, in my opinion, a 'one-stop shop' that has come in handy on several occasions. It is basically a tiny miniature version of Wal-Mart, and if you don't feel like dealing with the crowds at a big store, need a snack, or need to just make a quick trip to the store on your way back to your hotel or home, then Dollar General has wh...

Travel Tips and Tricks Tuesday Episode 6

Image
Welcome Back my fellow Adventurers! Now I know when traveling it's easier to just bring your debit or credit card or both, so you don't have to lug around a lot of cash. However when traveling, using cash to pay for things is a lot safer in the long run. In this episode, I will tell you why. So lets get started.     A lot of people, when traveling prefer to use a card to pay for purchases while on a trip. However, that isn't necessarily the safest thing to do. At home, you already know the places that are safest to use a card and what places it is better to use cash. When traveling, you put yourself into places that you are not familiar with. For example, I know that there are places around my hometown that are considered 'high theft' areas. But to someone who is just here on vacation, they don't know about those areas at all. So are more likely to have things stolen.     When traveling my mother and I always take cash with us...

New Look!

Image
Welcome back my fellow Adventures! As you can see my momma gave me a brand new collar! I absolutely love. I couldn't resist showing it off a bit. My mom said she might eventually get me more outfits, but for now I am happy with my shiny new collar.     Did you happen to find me in my photobombs in Thursdays update? If you didn't then the pictures will be featured again down below. See if you can find me. The pizza was pawsome!     See you next time!     Spirit

Pizza Time!

Image
Welcome back my fellow Adventurers! Today we are covering a meal that everyone loves. Whether its a game night, vacation, just finished a hard day a work, or in need of comfort food, everyone loves this meal. I am of course referring to the ever classic pizza! As for places to get pizza fairly quickly, I highly recommend Domino's. It is a great place to just order your favorite type of pizza and take it home with you.   Dom ino's is a to-g o pizzeria, where you can either order online, over the phone, or go in and order. We usually just go in to order at our favorite location. It's a lot easier than ordering online or over the phone. However, you can still do it the other 2 ways. Just depends on your preference.     We normally get 2 medium pizzas with 2 toppings and 1 extra large Extravaganza, which basically means it has everything on it. They have a garlic seasoning butter of some kind on their pizza crusts that i personally love. I normally don't...
